The National Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Canada (NTCM) is dedicated to the preservation of traditional Chinese medical knowledge and techniques, collectively known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). NTCM also actively promotes the development of TCM in Canada to establish the public awareness and support for TCM.
NCTM promotes the communication between different medical associations, integrates the theory and clinical guidance of TCM, and leads or participates in the academic research and development of TCM. NTCM holds seminars, publishes research papers or professional journals to increase the professional knowledge and social status of TCM.
NTCM safeguards the rights and interests of the TCM communities and promotes the union between different TCM associations. NTCM offers education and communication to the government and relevant civil society organizations to provide the accurate knowledge regarding TCM. By establishing the proper communication channels, NTCM effectively avoids misunderstanding and misconception about TCM from the publics, and actively fight for the right to participate in the legislation process regarding the regulation of TCM.
NTCM is an academic and professional association that defends culture diversity; anyone who is interested in TCM is welcomed to participate in the activities of NTCM at any time.
