Registration details for CPR-C and AED first aid course in February 2024
Dear NTCM members and fellow TCM practitioners:
The following are the details of our St. John Ambulance Standard First Aid with CPR-C and AED first aid course in February 2024. Registration for the course will close this Friday (12/1/2023). If you have not registered/completed the first aid course training, Please register as early as possible for courses organized by this society or other societies.
Unlike other courses, St John Ambulance adopts a small class teaching method (maximum 18 people), so that it can better take care of the needs of each student and give sufficient internship time:
Date: 2024, 2/23 & 2/24 (Friday & Saturday)
Location: Richmond St. John’s Ambulance Branch (260-4011 Viking Way, Richmond, BC)
Time: Both days are from 8:30am to 4:30pm. (Lunch at your own expense)
Language: Chinese teaching (Mandarin), English exam (last time it was a Chinese exam, so we will try our best to take the Chinese exam. All participating students passed successfully).
Cost: $170
Items you must bring: You must have a CPR Pocket Mask. You can purchase it at St. John’s Ambulance on Friday, the day classes start, for $14.55 each.
Recommended textbook: First Aid Reference Guide, which can be downloaded directly for free from the following St. John Ambulance webpage:

or you can purchase it at any branch of St. John’s Ambulance for $10.49 per copy. SJA will also lend out paper textbooks to students on the day.
